RCATS Develops New Alpha/Beta Probe - Mon Mar 28 2005

RCAT Systems is pleased to announce that it has developed a new Angle of Attack and Sideslip probe. This probe leverages in the latest sensor technology to achieve a low friction vane configuration.
Utilizing recent developments in sensor technology, the probe’s vanes do not contain the conventional potentiometer-based position sensing circuitry. By eliminating the potentiometer, we are able to achieve a very low friction vane movement, thus enabling a smooth measurement and smaller vane size. Dual ball bearings support the vane shaft, along with teflon washers as intermediary support.
Interested parties should contact us for details. Probes can be custom built to your size and specifications. |
